Glob-cal Green Mission

Return to natural ways of agriculture appears to be inevitable. However, the transformations of the last few decades have meant that such a switch would result in a swift decline in productivity and income in the short term. Even though the long-term outlook is better, the prospect of short-term loss prevents people from taking to natural farming. Glob-cal Green Mission tries to make this transition possible by promoting diverse farming. By resorting to various supplementary plants and crops, it is possible to augment the income a bit. However, the issue of security can be overwhelming in the short term. Any departure from conventional wisdom would attract suspicious attention. Any possibility of success of an experimental path would generate neighbours’ envy. Many experiments have to be abandoned because of sabotage.
